Huge thanks to our trust Fierte and Dunelm for delivering a number of gift bags kindly donated to us. Children's names were randomly generated so that these gift bags could find a new home! Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

What a fantastic production of Matilda performed by our Year 6 children this week. You blew us all away! Absolutely amazing. Well done all!
Year 3 are completing a unit of art work called ‘Working with shape and colour’. This is based on the work of an artist called Henri Matisse. We can't wait to see the finished creations.
Here are some of our class councillors showing off their new playground equipment for lunchtimes. Ms Grimley, our class council lead in school, asked the council leaders how we could improve our school. They said they wanted more playground equipment so here it is… Well done all - a super start!
What a wonderful accolade to receive! Well done to Mr Carvell and the team for making a difference in young people's lives by providing equal access to girls' football at Edge Hill.
World Mental Health Day - Wear Yellow Day. We raised £185 for MIND. Top effort Edge Hill... what a team!
This term, year 6 have been undertaking some artwork in the style of Lubaina Himid. They drew their chosen image (as seen above) and then made this into a 3D model. Well done year 6!
We had a super reading workshop this week led by Ms Sangster, our Reading Lead. She showcased our Rapid Catch-up programme to parents whose children are currently involved. There was lots of excellent information shared and some great participation too.
On Saturday 28th September, six of our children were shortlisted for the East Side Art Competition. From hundreds of entries (the most they've ever had) 50 were shortlisted and exhibited. Local artist, Joe Fox, then selected the 12 winning artworks, which will be included in the parish council's 2024 calendar. All six of our children were shortlisted and attended the gallery event. They should all be very proud. To top things off, Kianah’s pencil sketch of a bird made the calendar - WOW! Well done girls—we are so proud of you!
